guest speaker

      and presentations

As a professional photographer with a wealth of experience and a passion for sharing knowledge, I am honoured to offer my services as a guest speaker and presenter at various events, conferences, and workshops.

Professional Background and Accolades

My journey in the photography world has been enriched by my former membership in the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), where as an accredited member, I obtained my Masters. I was fortunte to hold roles on the Victorian Council and the Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA) Team during that time.

These positions allowed me to contribute to the photographic community and shape the standards of excellence within the industry.

This is probably where I’m supposed to shamelessly promote my awards –  Let’s just summerise by saying I’m fortunate enough to be an award winning Family, Wedding, Illustrative, and Landscape Photographer.

For those that appreciate the geeky side of Photography, I have a B. APP Science (Photography) from RMIT, and studied Photo-instrumentation under Prof Andrew Davidhazy at RIT, Rochester New York.

Judging Panels and International Experience

I have had the privilege of being invited to join judging panels around the world, including  events such as the AIPP APPA awards and the World Photographic Cup (WPC). As Team Captain and Team Judge, I represented Team Australia in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Additionally, I have judged numerous camera club competitions across Australia, fostering growth and celebrating the art of photography within local communities.

Speaking Engagements and Sponsorships

One of the highlights of my career has been the opportunity to speak at various events. I am incredibly proud to have been sponsored by Nikon, to share my insights and expertise. My speaking engagements have included notable events such as the Refocus Retreat, Bright Festival of Photography and a fun High Speed presentation to the students at Photography Studies College in Melbourne.

Local Presentations and Community Involvement

Sharing my knowledge and experience with local communities has always been close to my heart. I have had the pleasure of presenting at camera clubs in Melbourne, Warrigal, and the Macedon Ranges. These presentations allow me to engage with photographers of all levels, offering guidance, inspiration, and practical tips to help them achieve their creative visions.

Topics and Customised Presentations

My presentations cover a wide range of topics, tailored to the needs and interests of the audience. Whether it’s branding and commercial photography, technical skills, creative inspiration, or the business of photography, I strive to deliver engaging and informative sessions that leave a lasting impact.

If you’re looking for a passionate and experienced speaker to inspire and educate your audience, I would be delighted to be a part of your event. Let’s create an unforgettable experience that elevates the art of photography and empowers photographers to reach new heights.
